I continued to experiment with yesterday’s photo after posting it, and the B&W version got a fairly strong reaction out of people. So if you don’t like zombies, how about Boston Noir?

Musical Genius
I had the honor & pleasure of being invited to play trumpet on a couple of tracks with the incomparable Brendan Burns yesterday, so of course I took a few snapshots during our downtime.
I’d also like to direct your attention to Emperor Norton’s Stationary Marching Band’s Kickstarter to fund our next album. We’ve got some crazy, awesome music we want to share with the world and your support is much appreciated.

Post-practice Noms
A rare self-portrait, after a late dinner at Clover post-Pretty Boys practice. Clickenzee to embiggen to the ludicrous full-size 24mpix file.

Intrigued
One of the many buildings in/around Central Square which have always intrigued me. This one in particular seems like it used to be an apartment building, but is empty now (all of the ground floor windows and doorways are boarded up). Yet, there’s stuff on many of the balconies along the side. It’s in a fantastic location too, which adds to the strangeness of its apparent idleness.
